About Todd Hibbs:

Todd Hibbs joined Capstone Search Advisors as a Practice Leader in 2024. His focus is business development around the historic relationship between the TalentLaunch Network and the Wrestlers in Business Network (WIBN). In a cooperative effort with the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA), Todd connects clientele from a variety of industries with talent that was developed in part via amateur wrestling – a sport known to require consistent goal setting, discipline, resiliency and an uncommon work ethic.

A successful background in recruiting for enrollment divisions and athletic departments in higher education allowed Todd a smooth transition to the talent identification and recruitment industry. Working for both small liberal arts colleges and larger research institutions, he held positions such as Vice President for Institutional Advancement, Director of Development and Director of Athletics.

In wrestling, Todd has consistently demonstrated a propensity for strategically advancing the sport. After a two-time NCAA All-American/Scholar All-American career at the University of Mount Union, he acquired a Master’s degree at Michigan State University. He then had simultaneous coaching and announcing careers that landed an induction to the National Wrestling Hall of Fame (via the MI chapter) in 2018.

In all, Todd reinstated or launched a total of three men’s and two women’s collegiate wrestling programs, while announcing more than 30 national championships and serving on the NCAA Rules Committee. The relationships that he developed across this more than three-decade career provide the network required to create important connections between TalentLaunch/Capstone, WIBN and the NWCA.
