About Katie Kirby:

Katie works in legal recruiting at Capstone Search. She has a passion for helping attorneys and legal professionals match with their dream profession that allows for a fulfilling career and a healthy work-life balance. Katie’s experience working in the legal sphere as an attorney helps her understand the nuances for not only legal candidates but also companies and firms with specific legal needs in employment placements.

Katie currently holds an of-counsel attorney position at Cavitch, Familo & Durkin Co., L.P.A. in Cleveland, Ohio, where she focuses her law practice in the area of domestic relations. Professionally, Katie has over a decade of experience in complex legal drafting and contract negotiations. In addition, she has an extensive track record in effective settlement negotiation as well as involvement in complex litigation.

Katie received her Juris Doctor Degree from Cleveland State University School of Law in 2010. In 2006, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in History from Denison University.

Katie is an Honorary Member of the Cleveland State University School of Law Alumni Association and a past President of the CSULAA having served on the Board of Trustee’s Executive Committee for five (5) years. Katie is also a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.
