About Sean Spellacy:

Sean joined Capstone Search Advisors as a Senior Search Consultant in 2025, specializing in the water treatment industry—both chemical and equipment sectors.

He began his recruiting career in 2010 with Alliance Industrial Solutions, where he served as Division Director and Strategic Staffing Advisor. He later joined the MRI Network as an Executive Search Recruiter, spending over a decade building deep expertise in executive search, particularly within the water treatment space.

Sean is an active member of the Association of Water Technologies (AWT), an international organization representing more than 500 companies in the water treatment industry. He also participates in AWT’s Young Professionals Group, supporting the development of emerging leaders in the field.

A graduate of Notre Dame College, Sean earned his degree in Sport Management after attending both Cuyahoga Community College and Notre Dame on a baseball scholarship.

He lives in Strongsville, Ohio, with his wife Amy and their son Bryden. Outside of work, Sean has spent more than 10 years coaching youth wrestling through the Mustang Wrestling Club and continues to coach competitive high school baseball during the summer.
